With the growing number of social media users globally Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger say it’s a thriving problem in football as he prepares to face stoke city in the evening.
Arsenal players were confronted by angry fans after loosing 3-2 to stoke last season at stoke train station as they returned to london after the match.
“At the time I took it as people who were upset because we lost a game and didn’t take it personally,” he told reporters. “It was my function and the fact that I’m responsible for the club that was attacked.”
“I didn’t take it personally. I was sad and upset more by the result than by the individual reactions of people, which I can understand. When you love a club, you want the results to be positive.
“It might be one of the problems that football has to face in the coming years. You see it in many countries now, more and more.”
Arsenal will today battle Stoke city at Britannia with new signing Mohammed Elneny expected to be play for the gunners.
