Uhuru meets delegation from Northern Kenya

President uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy william Ruto on Thursday met with delegation from northern counties region at state house Nairobi.

Thousands of elected leaders and politicians from the northern kenya attended the meeting with president uhuru.

Among the dignitaries from Northern kenya are the governors of Mandera and wajir, the senator of Garissa and the house majority leader Aden duale.

Elected leaders and politicians from the northern region  community present at the meeting promised to campaign for President Kenyatta in the repeat presidential election.

President uhuru wants to get majority votes from the northern kenya, in the 8 August election Uhuru received more votes than Raila odinga in Northen region.

His party won majority of the parliamentary seats and members of ward assembly, the three governors from the Northern region are from the Jubilee party.
