Senator Bob Corker heightened his war of words with President Donald Trump on Sunday for expressing his concern that Trump’s emotional character could lead the United States of America into World War III.
The Republican elite of Tennessee state of US told New York Times, “it is a fact that every single day at the White House it is a situation of trying to control his feelings. I don’t think he appreciates the fact that when a President of United States speaks and says things as he does know the impact it makes to people of the world especially in the region he addresses. It is obvious it concerns me.
Bob Corker who is the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee recently announced he will not seek re-election next year as Trump has severely affected international diplomacy with his Twitter statements and every Republican Senator expresses his concerns.
Last Sunday Donald Trump through his Twitter account attacked Corker saying that Corker did not decide to seek re-election because he Knew Trump would not provide his endorsement. Surprisingly, a person conversant with the issue immediately disputed Trump’s account via Times newspaper saying the President himself called Mr. Corker and asked him to reconsider his decision by offering him an endorsement.
The Republican Senator responded to Trump’s twitter remark by calling the White House an ‘adult day care center’ he further increased his rhetoric against Trump expressing his concerns that his polices could result in a third World War.
Corker and Trump have not differed before. Corker praised Trump after he gave a foreign policy speech when he was still a presidential candidate and received Trump’s calls with foreign Policy questions. Corker was said to be a candidate for Vice President and later Secretary of state.
