Three suspects arraigned in court over Deputy Chief Justice shooting incident

Three suspects will be arraigned in Kibera law court this morning in regard to the shooting Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu’s.

John Mwaura (aged 21), James Wachira (aged 26) and Erick Njuguna (aged 28) will be facing a charge on robbery with violence.

The three were arrested at Ruiru on November 17th.

On October 24TH, Constable Titus Musyoka was shot three times as he was driving near Marsabit Plaza and his gun was stolen.

According to the police, the three suspects have also been linked to over five robbery incidents and three murders in Kiambu. The suspects will also face murder charges.

They were caught by luck when mobile phone robbed from a KDF officer led police to them.

The police found the gun used during the DCJ’s driver attack in their possession.

Police also claim a pistol holster belonging to the DCJ’s driver was recovered from Njuguna’s house in Kasarani.
