Korane’s event will take place at the Garissa Primary school grounds while Mohamud’s will be done at the Wajir Stadium.

Both governors and their respective deputies will take the oath of office following their election on August 8, 2017.

The two ceremonies are expected to attract high profile guests including Jubbaland State of Somalia’s President Ahmed Madobe who is expected in Garissa.
