Spurs midfielder signs new contract

Tottenham Hotspur’s Belgium midfielder Mousa Dembele has signed a new three-year contract with the club.

Dembele who joined the club on a £15m fee from Fulham in 2012  has been been a significant player for the Spurs scoring three times in 18 games.

Spurs midfiled has been very solid for the last two years, Dembele playing alongside Algerian Nabil Bentaleb.

“The way we’re playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good,” Dembele told the clubs official website.

“Everyone wants to be part of this team and this club. That’s why I am proud to extend my contract.”

 The deal will make Dembele stay at White Hart Lane till 2019.
