The Somali heritage week event will conclude today ending a four day event full of celebrating the Somali unique art and cultural practices.

The event which was first started on 2015, was this year held at the Kenya National theatere  in Nairobi Kenya. It was graced by Somali business community, women, youth as well politicians.

The event mainly celebrated the Somali language, Fashion (Somali Fashion), Art, Poetry, and Somali traditional Song, panel conversations and the Somali kitchen.

The event organiser say the aim of the Somali heritage week is to  create a place where Somali people and lovers of culture can come together to celebrate the community, to engage with the challenges facing the community, to sustain traditions and to provide a learning opportunity for those outside the culture.
