Mandera Governor Ali Roba has said the County has made strides in development courtesy of devolution.
Speaking after hosting a delegation from the Constitution Implementation Commission led by Chairman Charles Nyachae, Roba said his administration managed to changes lives of the local people for the better in the face of challenges such as insecurity, droughts and tribal clashes.
He pointed out Health, water and transport sectors as areas his administration recorded tangible results.
The CIC delegation also includes Commissioner Dr. Florence Omoso and will be in the County for three days beginning Monday to assess the success of devolution and implementation of Constitution by the county government.
The team started the tour with a visit to the county assembly yesterday.
