RK pledges free secondary education and other goodies if elected.

By Farah Adan:

Wajir East parliamentary candidate Rashid Kassim Amin popularly known as RK has pledged free secondary education among other goodies if elected in the August 2017 polls.

Speaking at a rally in Wajir town on Tuesday morning after jetting back into the County from an overseas trip, RK said he will make this a reality through prudent use of public resources as the constituency development fund.

“Mothers will no longer struggle with secondary school fees once I assume office, no more selling off livestock for fees. I will ensure equitable distribution of resources at our disposal and will also empower families to uplift their living standards” said the wiper party candidate.

RK also pledged to pump funds in the water and livestock sectors with a view to ending perennial water shortages in the county and resuscitate the important sector that was once the backbone of the local economy.

Kassim will battle it out for the seat with the incumbent Abass Sheikh Mohamed and immediate Wajir High School principal Ahmed Mohamed among other candidates.
