The opposition leader, Raila Odinga wants the repeat election to be postponed, The NASA leader said the elections should not be held on 17th October set by IEBC; instead it should be held on 24th October.
IEBC on Monday announced 17th October 2017 as the new presidential election date.
Mr Raila claimed the date was set by Jubilee Party and not the IEBC itself. Raila is also demanding legal certifications from the electoral commission that will prove the repeat poll will be free and fair before the commission proceeds with its mandate.
