Eastleigh’s Kilimanjaro chain of hotels got another feather on their cap today after opening a high capacity outlet in Nairobi’s Central Business district.
Guests including Somali politicians and business people were treated to mouthwatering dishes as Kilimanjaro Jamia, the restaurant’s second outlet in the CBD opened its doors along Kimathi Street.
Majority Leader Aden Duale was the chief guest.
The event was also graced by Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi, TNA party Chairman and MP Johnson Sakaja, Yussuf Hassan (Kamakunji), Abdikadir Ore (Wajir West), Mohamed Elmi (Tarbaj) and Shukran Gure (Garissa county women representative) among other prominent personalities.
The hashtag #TukutaneKilimanjaroJamia was trending on twitter for the better part of Tuesday.
Kilimanjaro becomes the latest brand to join the spiraling restaurant and cafeteria business of the Nariobi CBD. The restaurant will open its doors to the public on Wednesday morning.
