Raila and Uhuru will again square it out for the presidency after the supreme court nullified the presidential elections on Friday.

Oppositional coalition, the National Super Alliance (NASA) has welcomed Mr. Peter Munya, the former Meru Governor who lost to Kiraitu Murungi of Jubilee in the August 8 polls.

Mr. Munya joined the opposition block together with his party, the Party of National Unity (PNU) despite controversy surrounding the leadership of the once ruling party.

Munya stressed that he switched allegiance because they (Jubilee) stole his election.

“I cannot support the same people who stole my votes,” he told reporters at NASA’s headquarters, Capitol Hill.

He therefore, promised to challenge Mr. Kiraitu’s win at the High Court.

Prior to the elections, Munya did not dissolve his party to join the ruling Jubilee Party led by president Kenyatta but did admit to have supported him for his re-election in the August 8 polls as the leader of PNU.
