Hundreds of people turned up at the Kenyan capital Nairobi’s Eastleigh suburb today to participate in a peace walk dubbed the @somalipeacewalk to show solidarity with those affected by last week’s deadly #MogadishuTruckBomb.
The walk is set to end at 1pm ahead of a fundraiser organized in aid of the victims set to be held at Intercontinental hotel from 1900hrs. Majority leader in the Kenyan parliament and Garissa Township MP Aden Duale is set to be the guest of honor.
