Three NASA demonstrators have been knocked down by a speeding car while demonstrating in the Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) in today’s Monday protest of pushing for reforms prior to the October 26 presidential election.

It is at Kenyatta avenue where it is said police shot one protester for allegedly trying to steal from the car. The car driver tried to speed off as other demonstrators approached but accidentally ran over three people in the process.

Nasa faithfuls assembled at Uhuru Park early in the morning led by Easter Passaris Nairobi County Women representative and Hon. Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay County before marching towards Anniversary towers through Kenyatta Avenue.

Gunshots fired by men in plain clothes were heard near General Post Office (GPO) as hundreds of Opposition supporters made their way through the city to the IEBC main offices at Anniversary Towers.
