Nep Curfew set to expire today

A curfew imposed by the government on the four counties of Garissa, Wajir, Mandera and Tanariver is set to come to an end today.

The region was slapped with the 6am to 6pm restriction after Al-Shabaab militia carried out a deadly terrorist attack on Garissa University College where they killed 147 people.

There was no official communication from the government at the time of going to press on whether the curfew will still be in place or come to an end as announced at first.
