A two day National consultative forum has today kicked off in Mogadishu bringing together heads of the federal government and federal member states.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud official opened the meeting at Villa Somalia with leaders set to discuss the security and political situation of the Country.
Agendas on the table include the 2016 electoral model recently legalized by the President of the Federal government after Parliament failed to conclude its enactment on time.
Prime Minister Omar Sharmarke, his deputy Mohamed Omar Arte as well regional heads of state Ahmed Madobe (Jubbaland), Dr. Abdiweli Gas (Puntland), Abdikarim Gulled (Galmudug) and Shariff Hassan (ISWA) are all in attendance.
