Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria walked out of an interview on Citizen TV’s The Big Question on Tuesday after a video of him allegedly inciting youth in his constituency was played on the show.

Kuria allegedly asked youths to attack with machetes politicians opposed to the National Youth Service after corruption allegations docked the state body’s projects.

During the interview, he denied making inciting statements in a mixture of Kikuyu and English dismissing the the video as a piece full of “mischievous editing”.

He said that the remarks were made on June 26 but the fact that it emerged weeks later was raising eyebrows.

“My speech was 45 minutes long, I challenge any media house to play the whole video…I was taken out of context. To understand you have to see the full footage of my speech,” Kuria said.

The MP asked the show’s host, Hussein Mohammed to play the whole clip, and walked out when the video which he claimed was edited was put on air.
