Former prime minister Raila Odinga’s aide Miguna Miguna praised at Mr. Odinga’s withdrawal of his candidature saying that it caught the President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Ruto off guard.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate scolded at the two for daring Raila to resign something he did.

The vocal lawyer through his twitter account said the Jubilee duo were not prepared for such an eventuality.

He lauded Odinga’s move as an incredible intellectual blow for Jubilee party.

“Both president Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto are caught pants down with Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka’s withdrawal- INTELLECTUAL OUTGUNNED,” reads Miguna Miguna’s tweep.

Raila’s action has confused legal minds with each trying to give a legal explanations of the impact of his decision. But Jubilee maintains that the presidential election will take place as planned despite NASA’s claim it was illegal for IEBC to conduct the elections on October 26.

President Uhuru and his deputy Ruto have announced they were ready for elections with or without Raila on the ballot adding there would be no changes to be made.
