Governor Ali Roba and his entire Mandera County Executive members, Chief offices and Members of the County Assembly have pitched tent at a Coastal hotel for a bonding retreat.
The three day long stay will see Executive members and Chief Officers sign their performance contracts in a ceremony presided over by the Governor and witnessed by the MCAs.
Governor Roba said his Government had achieved a lot in its one year in office despite the teething problems and this bonding session will help them analyze their progress and strategize for the year ahead.
He directed all departments of his Government to come up with programmes aimed at uplifting the living standards of the vulnerable people in the County.
The meeting will also see MCAs from the County take stock of their first year in office.
The executive and the MCAs will also have an opportunity to interact one on one with each other in a bid to create bonding between the top two organs of the County Government.
