Funds drive launched for ailing Somali Singer Amina Dhool

A group of concerned artist and journalists have launched an online funds drive for to help pay the medical bills and operation for legendary Somali singer Amina Dhool hospitalized at a London hotel for kidney failure.

Dhool, a single mother of 10 is a prominent Somali artist and has in the recent past worked with a Universal TV.

Her Medical bill and surgery is projected to cost around $90,000 which is beyond her family’s reach prompting well-wishers to initiative a funds drive to enable her medication.

Last week, a group of fellow artists and journalists visited her in her hospital to console her and how their support.
