Fifa Secretary general Jérôme Valcke who was originally suspended last in September, has been dismissed with immediate effect.
The Frenchman has been accused of agreeing to help sell Brazil 2014 World Cup tickets on the black market to generate millions of dollars for himself.
“The duties of the secretary general will continue to be assumed by the acting secretary general, Dr Markus Kattner,” read a Fifa statement.
FIFA ethics committee urged that Valckle should be banned from all football activities for a period of nine years.
He joins Blatter and Vice President Michel Platini who were both suspended 8 years from soccer activities in December following investigations by the football governing body.
Valckle who has been the right-hand of Blatter since 2007 has denied any wrongdoing.
