The family of Ibrahim Bishar Omar, a 17 years old Form three student at Ifting Secondary school who was allegedly beaten by KDF personnel on Wednesday 28th July 2015 seriously injuring him is appealing for help to enable them foot his hospital bill.

Ibrahim suffered mandibles and jaw fractures after the officers who were on patrol beat him at around 8pm on the fateful day.

Although the military denied any wrong doing saying he fell from a motocycle as they tried to escape, Family members say they received a call from a good samaritan informing them of their kin’s predicaments and on visiting at Wajir County referral hospital, they were told he was booked in by uniformed officers from the KDF.

He was later referred to Kenyatta national hospital for further management but was later referred to Kijabe hospital after stabilizing his condition.

The surgery is scheduled for Thursday this week at kijabe hospital and the boy is currently putting up with relatives in Eastleigh.
