Security agencies keep vigil outside Garissa university college

The government has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew on four counties, three in Northern Kenya and the fourth a neighboring county in the former coast province.

This follows Thursday’s siege by Al-Shabaab fighters of Garissa university college in Garissa town.

Inspector General Mr. Boinet announced that Garissa, Wajir, Mandera and Tana River counties will be slapped with a 6.30pm – 6.30m embargo.

The Interior ministry has also announced that 500 out of the 815 students of the University have been accounted so far.
