Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi (in black) leads County officials in assessing the extent of damage to Makaror dispensary after it recently went up in flames

The County government of Wajir will rebuild Makaror dispensary which was recently razed to the ground by fire.

Speaking after visiting the area earlier today to assess the damage, Governor Ahmed Abdullahi said that the facility will be rebuilt through Emergency Funding.

Abdullahi’s sentiments come as the County is currently grappling with reported diarhoea outbreak.

“There are cases of cholera in some neighboring counties. We have therefor taken necessary measures by putting up an isolation unit at the Wajir County Refferal Hospital” said the governor urging private clinics to refer severe cases to the County referral hospital.
