CHAN 2016: CÔTE D’IVOIRE WEIGHTLESS AHEAD OF GABON SHOWDOWN

Ivory Coast captain Nguessan Yao Serge has revealed confidence in his side ahead of their final group A match against Gabon in the ongoing 2016 African Nations Championship [CHAN 2016] tournament in Rwanda. The match will be played today as from 1700 hours at Huye Stadium, Butare.

We are getting ready to face Gabon. We are feeling good and the atmosphere in the team is great. Group A is tough. We defeated Morocco, but we also lost against Rwanda. We had to face great players, he toldAfricanfootball.

-It is now up to us to do what it takes to qualify for the next round. We need to remain focused to beat Gabon in our final match, he added.

Ivory Coast are currently placed 2nd in group A after bouncing back from 1-0 defeat to the hosting team Rwanda.
