The 2016 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will be released today, reports indicate.
Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is set to release the results at Shimo La Tewa High School in Mombasa from 2.30pm.
This year, a total of total of 577, 253 candidates sat for the examination in 9,158 centres across the country.
The announcement is another first since KCSE will be released two months earlier than was the practice.
This year’s KCPE examination results were also released earlier by the CS who attributed the efficiency to efforts aimed at reducing cheating and other malpractices in the country’s national examinations for both primary and secondary schools.
