On Wednesdaya Jubilee rally in Wundanyi Taita Taveta County was disrupted by a raging swarm of bees which prompted for a temporarily postponement. The rally was geared to back up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the region.

The bees unleashed their vicious attack when the ruling coalition’s leaders were about to start the rally at Wundanyi stage, forcing Jubilee supporters to flee for their safety. The bees however, vanished from the scene after powerful prayers by Mr. Peter Mwakio, who lost the Wusi-Kishamba Ward seat in the August 8 elections.

The Jubilee leaders in the rally blamed the attack on Satan. Those in attendance also included the Taveta MP Naomi Shaban, the Woman Representative Lydia Haika and several parliamentary leaders as well as county assembly losers.
