The components include connection wires, white and grey explosive powder, motherhouse or body and a switch, magnetic substance, small nails, 7.62mm caliber bullets and blank 7.62mm caliber bullets.

Anti terror police suspect that the components were intended for use in the county since the assembly was in the final stages.

Two terror suspects recently arrested in Mombasa, Abdiaziz Abdullahi Abdi and Isaak Noor Ibrahim are said to be residents of Wajir.

Wajir county head of Police Mr. David Kirui said that no one has been arrested so far although investigations are still going on. He is appealing to members of the public to report any suspect luggage or persons.
